Communication is the key to massage. If you find the pressure to be too light or too painful speak up. Deep massage can be uncomfortable but should not exceed your pain threshold. Your therapist will work with you to find the right balance.
After receiving massage therapy soreness might be felt in muscles where more aggressive strokes were performed. This is normal and should subside in a few days.
DRINK PLENTY OF WATER. Water will help you re-hydrate your muscles and recover faster after massage. We suggest continuous water intake the day of your massage and every day to flush the waste released from your muscles and decrease dehydration that causes dysfunction in muscle fibers.
